STUDENTS HONORED AT AWARDS BANQUET
The annual Honors and Awards Banquet to be held Wednesday, June 13 is the final event of the school year for Glendale Community College students.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. at the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. Presentations include the introduction of newly established scholarships, ASGCC Academic Scholars awards, Rossall-Smith male and female Scholar Athlete Awards and Trustee Scholarships, Patrons Club Awards and other endowed scholarships and awards.
One of the highlights of the program is the introduction of the Men and Women of Distinction, five of the top men and women voted on by their fellow students. From that list the Man and Woman of the Year are named.
