The Information and Technology Services (ITS) department
recently met with representatives from Dell Computer Corporation, and we are
pleased to announce that Dell has agreed to allow us to participate in their
university program. Through this program, our students, faculty, and staff can
receive an additional discount off of the purchase price for any Dell product -
PCs, notebook computers, printers, cameras, TVs - you name it. The discount
percentage is based on the purchase price of the product that you are ordering
-- the higher the price, the higher the discount. This discount is applied on
top of any other special promotional offer that Dell might have going at the
time. The discount is applied to the purchase at the end of the transaction.
The purchase of any product that you wish to order is entirely between you and
Dell; GCC simply provides you with the agreement to allow you to receive
discounts, and the portal to get to Dell's ordering page.
