The GCC English Major Transfer Program is dedicated to helping English majors transfer successfully to the four year schools of their choice by

• using English club meetings and one-on-one faculty mentorship to inform students about career opportunities and the best ways to satisfy English major transfer requirements at individual four-year schools.

• encouraging student participation in English major internships and English-related community outreach

• raising awareness of English major scholarships 

• developing student interest in minority literature through informal discussions with faculty in the Book Club
