What is the Blue List?
The Blue List is a list of governance committees on campus and includes the representatives of each committee. Before the internet, the list of Governance Committees was typed on blue paper.
How long will I serve?
Appointments are:
up to a 4-year term for faculty representatives
2-year term for CSEA appointments
some seats pertain to a position e.g. chair of the Excutive Committee is the Superintendent/President
ASGCC appointments change each semester dependent upon student’s schedules.
Please note that positions in the following categories do not have a term of service: “ASGCC, Division Chairs, Recording Secretary and Resource.”
KEY to reading the Blue List:
1. An underlined name indicates the Committee Chair; this is an email link.
2. Members are listed by the agency which appointed them, for example:
Senate: John Doe (10-11)
This means John Doe is the Senate representative; the Senate appointed him.
3. The numbers “(10-11)” after John Doe’s name indicate his term is through the end of the academic year of (10-11) so his term is complete at the end of Spring Semester 2011 .
