(KINESIOLOGY DIVISION - FALL 2012)
The Kinesiology Division offers a wide variety of courses to meet the varied interests of the Glendale College student within five departments; Adapted Physical Education, Athletics, Health, Kinesiology, and Physical Education. All courses are coeducational unless otherwise noted.The Division also serves the needs of students completing majors in other fields who find that certain aspects of Adapted Physical Education, Athletics, Health, Kinesiology, and Physical Education are important to their professional objectives and personal interests.
The Division offers the following degrees:
- Associate of Arts in Kinesiology (New Transfer Degree – Senate Bill 1440)
- Associate of Arts in Physical Education.
In addition to offering its degrees the Division of Kinesiology contributes to the overall mission of the College by interacting with the community through clinics and camps, conducting applied research, and providing students with general education, interdisciplinary and physical activity courses.
