Thanks to the support of the Academic Senate, GCC currently funds a 10% sustainability coordinator position. Please send all questions and comments regarding GCC's environmental policies to our current sustainability coordinator: Michael Reed, Assistant Professor of Geography.- The Green Team, a group of concerned faculty, staff, and students, meets monthly to plan and strategize a green future for the campus. Anyone is welcome to join.
- A student club, The GCC Environmental Club, is active most semesters on campus and generally hosts an Earth Day event each April.
