The men's tennis team is looking forward to their 2015 season. There are eight returning players along with six newcomers.  Coach Mackay is very excited about the chemistry and talent of these 14 young men.

The eight returning players, Cameron Braun, Dro Dermegerdichian, Andrew Kevakian, Rondie Latham,Patrick Meserkhani, Hosep Orojian, Clayton Pauff, Oleg Simonyan.  The remaining 6 players are lead by Christopher Pope from Valencia, Milosz Kubizna, Giovanni Moraes, Alex Kevakian, David Ismilian and Hratch Avedissiam.

The season home opener for the Vaqueros is Tuesday , January 27th at 2pm against Cypress.  Some other home non-conference highlight matches are Cerritos, Saddleback, Riverside, College of the Desert, Amherst College and New Mexico Military.

Coach Mackay believes that a challenging non conference will prepare the Vaqueros both team and individual for a tough Western State Conference and post season play.  The team and coaches would like to thank you in advance for the individuals who come out and support the team.

Those who can not make it to the matches this year can follow the team on the website, where Twitter feeds will give updates on matches. Additionally, a direct link will soon be put on the webpage that will allow users to access the California Community College Tennis Association’s and Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s team and player rankings directly from the men’s tennis website.

There is currently an updated 2015 tennis schedule as well as directions to and from the Glendale College tennis courts on the webpage, but if you have any further questions about the webpage or need more information regarding the men’s tennis team you can contact Head Coach Bob MacKay at (818) 240-1000 ext. 3194 or athletic secretary Rubina Hairapetian at (818) 240-1000 ext. 5377.
