General Education/Transfer Programs
Glendale Community
College’s Academic Divisions feature courses and programs that lead to a
two-year Associated in Arts (A.A.) degree at the college or a
Baccalaureate degree (B.A. or B.S.) after transferring to a four-year
institution.
Courses typically fall
into four categories:
1. Preparation for the major.
2. General Education that satisfies lower division requirements.
3. Elective courses for transfer.
4. Courses that may be taken for personal enrichment.
