"At Glendale Community College's Theatre Arts Department, our mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and creativity to excel in the performing arts. Fostering a diverse and inclusive community of performers, technicians, and scholars, we strive to inspire a lifelong passion for the arts, nurturing individuals to become well-rounded, innovative, and compassionate contributors to society.
Uniquely positioned in Southern California with access to Hollywood and the Los Angeles entertainment industry, students gain opportunities to work in the field, build their resumes, and enrich their artistic experiences. With a variety of degree, certificate, and transfer options, we help each student identify and prepare for their unique pathway into the field.
Our nationally recognized program offers fully produced productions, student-initiated work, and a symbiotic relationship with other departments and student clubs."
