ABSE 10 (Basic Reading & Writing) is a beginning composition and reading course. This course covers the basics of sentence and paragraph composition including mechanics, grammar, and spelling. Reading techniques, vocabulary development, comprehension, and analysis skills will be introduced. Small group class lessons are the basis of this course. Independent work in textbooks, and via computer and video are included.

ABSE 20 (Basic Math) is for students who wish to improve their skills in the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Percents and percent problems are also included. Students attend small group classes. In addition, they work independently on worksheets, in textbooks, and on computer. Video lessons are also available.
