With your General Office Clerk I Certificate, you can work any industry such as a/an:
Our General Office Clerk I program prepares students for entry-level work in an office setting. In addition, students completing this program will be prepared to enter a college-level course of study in business.
This series of courses allows students to develop skills in keyboarding, enhance verbal communication skills, file alphabetically and numerically, and attain the basics of computerized word processing—a necessary foundation for students interested in landing that entry-level position and/or advancing to earn their General Office Clerk II Certificate.
Students will also learn strategies for creating a resume and preparing for a job interview. This program is the first in a series of three programs in the office clerk discipline.
The core requirements include NINE COURSES—NO ELECTIVES.
