OUR GENERAL OFFICE CLERK II PROGRAM prepares students for independent work in an office setting. In addition, students completing this program will be well prepared to matriculate to a college-level administrative assistant program.
Students gain a broad background in business math, calculators, computer applications, and business writing which provides them with the ability to work in most business departments. Students attain skill development in keyboarding through speed drills and the production of business documents; develop their verbal and written communication abilities and expand their customer service skills.
This program is the second in a series of three programs in the office clerk discipline.
The core requirements include SEVEN COURSES—NO ELECTIVES.
COMPLETION ESTIMATE: 9 months
PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of General Office Clerk I, or the equivalent,
is required for entry into this program
