The CalW❤️RKs Parenting Students Program is here to provide you with a strong community of support!

The CalWORKs Program supports parenting students with children under 18 who are changing their own lives, two generations at a time, and CalWORKs families find social and economic justice through education.

You can join the GCC CalWORKs Program if you have children under 18 years old, you are enrolled in classes at GCC, and you are part of the Los Angeles County DPSS GAIN Program. 

CalWORKs Students receive priority registration, childcare, laptops, peer mentoring, counseling, case management, college program grants twice-yearly, and a book and supply stipend every semester. You take care of your family and your classes, and we will take care of you. 

All in-person GCC Student Services offices will be closed this Wedensday, October 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for staff training. We will re-open at 2 p.m. Thanks so much!
