Associate of Arts Degree Requirements
The requirements for the Associate of Arts Degree may be met by completing an approved major or certificate with a minimum of 18 semester units and the General Education Requirements.
Associate of Science Degree Requirements
The requirements for the Associate of Science Degree may be met by completing an approved major or certificate with a minimum of 18 semester units and the General Education Requirements.
Certificate Programs are primarily business and technical programs for students desiring education beyond high school. These programs provide opportunities for students to prepare themselves for a wide variety of careers.
A Skill Award is a Career Education credential that is designed to equip students with in-demand occupational skills and knowledge. The Skill Award credential can be used for marketing in the job sector and to advance within an occupation. Students who earn a Skill Award will also be able to promote it as a Digital Badge on professional platforms.
Associate Degrees for Transfer AA-T/AS-T
California Community Colleges are now offering associate degrees for transfer to the CSU. These may include Associate in Arts (AA-T) or Associate in Science (AS-T) degrees. These degrees are designed to provide a clear pathway to a CSU major and baccalaureate degree.
