Foundation & Community
In 1983, a group of dedicated community volunteers came together on behalf of Glendale Community College and created the Glendale College Foundation. Their vision—to establish a charitable foundation that would support college facilities and programs and build public awareness of the college—is today’s reality.
The Foundation achieves its goals through various fundraising programs and special events. It has an endowment of over $20 million, with more than 500 funds that support scholarships, facilities and programs. A distinguished and active thirty-five member Board of Directors provides steady guidance and support and formulates the policies, goals, and directions of the foundation.
