My name is Marieke Beeler and I have been teaching in the field of Communications since 2005. I hold a BA in Communication Management from the Institute of Higher European Studies, The Hague (The Netherlands) and a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College, Boston. I was born and raised in The Netherlands and spent part of my college career studying and working abroad (The Hague, Madrid, Brussels and Florence).
The field of Communications fascinates me. Communication is about connecting and when we connect with people, we are able to bring them together. I love teaching and strive to create a relaxed atmosphere in class, where I encourage my students to participate and engage and where my students are able to give their best and discover qualities in themselves they didn’t realize they possessed.
I am married and have two young boys, who, when I am not teaching, keep me plenty busy with their respective tennis training and tournaments, soccer practice and games, swimming lessons, and chess tournaments. And when there is any time left over, I love to travel, explore the world and enjoy amazing food.
