Statement of Professional Ethics
Glendale Community College administrators, managers, and confidential employees recognize that ethical behavior is a prerequisite to successful leadership and management. Ethical behavior, defined as behavior that meets commonly accepted rules of conduct, encompasses the principles of honesty and equity.
At Glendale Community College, administrators, managers, and confidential employees shall exercise judgments that are transparent, fair, consistent, and equitable. They are approachable and reliable, address issues and people without prejudice, safeguard the integrity and financial stability of the district, and consistently maintain a focus on the best interest of the college’s students, employees, and communities served.
In fulfilling their responsibilities, Glendale Community College administrators, managers, and confidential employees adhere to the college’s Mission Statement with a commitment to student access and success and institutional excellence.
