GCC in the News
Glendale Community College was recently featured in a nationwide study of Career Education (CE) programs at community colleges. The Lumina Foundation in collaboration with Rutgers University examined more than 40 colleges to assess the effectiveness of the CE programs. Several colleges were mentioned in the report, but GCC was one of only two colleges singled out in the news release synopsis. The authors noted Garfield’s commitment to helping “immigrant students succeed in finding their first jobs.” Here’s a link to the synopsis and a link to the more in-depth issue brief.
