Course Sequences

Even if you're not teaching in Math or English, it's helpful to have a general understanding of these divisions' course sequences to better communicate with students about their schedules and plans for the future.  If you are teaching in Math or English, it's imperative to understand your division's course sequence so you know which courses students should have taken before your class and which courses they can take next. 

While you can discuss the general course sequence with students, always refer them to GCC Academic Counseling to make official decisions about academic planning.  Even if you're certain of which class students need to take next, always recommend that students run it by an academic counselor.  As instructors, we are neither trained nor qualified to give official academic counseling advice.
