Duplicating Services takes care of all the photocopying and binding at GCC. All photocopying must go through Duplication Services since there are no copiers for adjunct faculty use on campus.
Dropping Off Originals In Person
You can drop off a photocopy request in person at Duplicating Services, AD 252. Bring a printout of your document and fill out a Duplicating Request Form (they also have blank forms on site) specifying number of copies, whether not to staple, color of paper, etc. It would be best if you could allow 24 to 48 hours for duplication, especially for large orders.
Hours of operation: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday
Sending Originals Electronically
You can also email your duplication requests to Lida Markari-Davidian (lmarkari@glendale.edu). Attach the material you need copied along with a completed Duplicating Request Form. Email duplication requests have a minimum 24-hour turnaround time. Be sensitive to the center’s hours of operation when emailing your request; contact Lida Markari-Davidian (818-240-1000 x5319) for further information. Note that you will only receive an email reply or notification if something is wrong with your duplication request, so don't wait for an email reply. Swing by Duplicating Services to pick up your copies a day or two after sending. If you are on campus after the Duplicating Center closes, you can request that copies be delivered to your campus mailbox (AD 147) if on the Verdugo Campus.
Garfield Campus
Though the duplicating office is located on the Verdugo Campus, it is possible to have your copies made without leaving the Garfield Campus. You can send your original along with the completed Duplicating Request Form to Lida as noted above. In the subject and body of the email, note that the copies are for Garfield Campus. Once the copies are made, they will be delivered to the Garfield Campus. Such deliveries occur once per day, usually in the morning, so allow a little extra time. Deliveries will be placed on the duplicating shelf located on the right side of the mailroom.
An alternative to sending originals electronically from Garfield Campus is to print a hard copy and paperclip a Duplicating Request Form, which are available in the mailroom. Then place your request in the duplicating box in the mailroom. Note that this method may take up to a week for copies to be delivered back to the mailroom.
Printing
If you just need to print something, you can use the computers in ITS (LB 113) or one of two Adjunct Faculty Centers on Verdugo Campus (SG 140 or SR 236/239/240) or Garfield Campus (MP 227A or TR 202). Contact John Fuhrmann at jfuhrman@glendale.edu to obtain door codes to the Adjunct Faculty Centers. The Adjunct Faculty Centers limit the size of printing jobs (currently to 4 pages), so larger jobs should be done through Duplicating.
