OER (Open Educational Resources)

Open Educational Resources (OER) are course materials that reside in the public domain and are free to use with limited or no restrictions.  Using OER textbooks, for example, can save community college students hundreds of dollars.

As instructors at GCC, we are required to use the textbook in the course outline determined by the division, but it's good to always be looking for an OER alternative that is still high in quality.

Visit the Open Educational Resources page for more information.
