Home MenuInstitutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
Institutional Learning Outcomes are the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes that students are expected to develop as a result of their overall experiences with any aspect of the college, including courses, programs, and student services. ILOs are designed to help guide individual departments and disciplines in the development of learning outcomes for programs and courses and services, and to help shape the decision making processes of Glendale Community College.
ILOs are the collective expression of the learning environment at Glendale College.
ILOs were revised by the LO&A Committee in the Fall 2021/Spring 2022 and formally adopted by the Academic Senate in the Spring of 2022.
Critical Thinking Findings
In the Fall of 2015 a Critical Thinking Institutional Learning Outcome Task Force was put together to review all PLOs that were linked to Critical Thinking. Through the work of the task force the Critical Thinking Report Findings discovered key issues and made suggestions based on the findings.
