Welcome to the GCC WAC+ website! As many of you know, our WAC program has been around since 2001, and those of us coordinating WAC Plus continue to be impressed by faculty commitment to the idea that writing and other core literacies can enhance students’ success generally, as well as reinforce their learning of specific course content. Although this website is a work in progress, we hope that you’ll find what you’re looking for and that you will contact Elizabeth Bryer or Tiffany Ingle with any suggestions for additional features you think might be helpful (ebryer@glendale.edu or tiffanyi@glendale.edu).

While WAC started out as a program designed to help faculty find the best strategies for improving student writing, during the 2016-2017 academic year, the program was renamed WAC+.  This new name marks its evolution into a program that also helps faculty enhance several other core literacies including reading, numeracy, and equity literacy.
