Oceanography Instructor Rachel Ridgway's students keep a science journal and do short writing activities which help them generate questions; English Instructor John Lynch has his students write about their study strategies and which ones are working well and which ones are not; Math Instructor Mayra Sierra uses "exam wraps" to help students reflect on their performance on exams. Come hear the many ways short, informal writing assignments can help your students meet their learning goals. Flex will be provided!
