SENATE BILL 568 passed October 2019

This is also a special year for the GCC campus. Due to the efforts of campus administrators, GCC Board of Trustees, our governance leaders, and Senator Anthony Portantino, Senate Bill 568 was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom, allowing GCC to close the campus each year on April 24th without any negative fiscal impacts. This also allows our campus community to participate in commemorative programming without missing work or class. If you would like read more about SB 568, you can click here.
