2019 Local Vision Goals
The Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees adopted goals aligned with the state Vision for Success at its May 21, 2019 meeting (Agenda, Minutes, Goals Submitted via Chancellor's Office NOVA System).
The Board adopted the following goals for 2021-2022 at its May 21, 2019 meeting:
- Goal 1: Completion
- Goal 1A - Students Earning Associate Degree: 900 students
- Goal 1B - Students Earning Chancellor's Approved Certificate: 225 students
- Goal 2: Transfer
- Goal 2A - Students Earning Associate Degree for Transfer: 550 students
- Goal 3: Unit Accumulation
- Goal 3A - Average Number of Units Accumulated by Associate Degree Earners: 85 units
- Goal 4: Workforce
- Goal 4C - Students with Job Closely Related to Field of Study: 75%
- Goal 5: Equity
- Goal 5.1B - Students Earning Chancellor's Office Approved Certificate
- Hispanic Students: 47 students
- Goal 5.2A - Students Earning Associate Degree for Transfer
- Asian Students: 40 students

2016-2017 Institutional Effectiveness Framework and Goals
The Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees adopted the state's proposed year three institutional effectiveness framework at its June 20, 2017 meeting (Agenda, Minutes, Framework of Indicators Document, Goals Submitted via Chancellor's Office Portal).
The Board adopted the following goals at its June 20, 2017 meeting:
- Student Performance and Outcomes: For successful course completion rate, Glendale Community College adopts a short-term (one-year) goal of 70.5% and a long-term (six-year) goal of 71%.
- Accreditation: Glendale Community College will continue to be fully accredited.
- Fiscal Viability: For fund balance, Glendale Community College will attain a minimum 5% ending unrestricted general fund balance as compared to total expenditures for its short-term (one-year) goal and its long-term (six-year) goal.
- Annual Operating Excess/Deficiency: Glendale Community College will not incur an operating deficiency in any year (this is a short-term and a long-term goal).
- Compliance with State and Federal Guidelines: Glendale Community College will achieve an unmodified audit opinion with any findings addressed within the next audit cycle. Glendale Community College will not have any material weaknesses or significant deficiencies within its state programs. Glendale Community College will not have any material weaknesses or significant deficiencies within its federal programs.
- College Choice: For Scorecard Remedial Math Rate, Glendale Community College adopts a short-term (one-year) goal of 38.0% and a long-term (six-year) goal of 39.0%.
2015-2016 Institutional Effectiveness Framework and Goals
The Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees adopted the state's proposed year two institutional effectiveness framework at its May 17, 2016 meeting (Agenda, Minutes, Framework of Indicators Document, Goals Submitted via Chancellor's Office Portal).
The Board adopted the following goals for 2015-2016 at its May 17, 2016 meeting:
- Student Performance and Outcomes: For successful course completion rate, Glendale Community College adopts a short-term (one-year) goal of 70.5% and a long-term (six-year) goal of 71%.
- Accreditation: Glendale Community College will continue to be fully accredited.

The Glendale Community College District Board of Trustees adopted the state's proposed year one institutional effectiveness framework at its May 19, 2015 meeting (Agenda, Minutes, Framework of Indicators Document, Goals Submitted via Chancellor's Office Portal).
The Board adopted the following goals for 2014-2015 at its May 19, 2015 meeting:
- Student Performance and Outcomes: Glendale Community College adopts the current institutionally set standard of 67% as successful course completion rate
- Accreditation: Glendale Community College will continue to be fully accredited
- Fiscal Viability: Glendale Community College will attain a minimum 5% ending unrestricted general fund balance as compared to total expenditures
- Compliance with State and Federal Guidelines: Glendale Community College will achieve an unmodified audit opinion with any findings addressed within the next audit cycle
