Plan Development, Approval, & Review

PLAN DEVELOPMENT: As plans are developed, they will use the IPCC-approved Plan Template which identifies essential components that should be included in each college plan (e.g., period of time covered by plan, mission of plan, linkage of plan goals to Institutional Strategic Plan goals, etc.) Plan Template components are superseded by any plan development mandates of the Chancellor's Office.

PLAN APPROVAL:  Consistent with AR 3250, each plan must be approved through the governance pathway, beginning with its responsible committee, including all successive committees in the governance hierarchy, and eventually ending with approval by the College Executive Committee.  The Institutional Strategic Plan will be reviewed for input by the ASGCC, CSEA, Senate, all standing committees (i.e., Institutional Planning Coordination Committee, Student Affairs Committee, Administrative Affairs Committee, and Academic Affairs Committee) and approved by the Board of Trustees.

PLAN REVIEW:  Plans are reviewed annually by the responsible administrator and the responsible committee.  This plan review includes the evaluation of plan goals and action items.
