Bio 298 was my first research experience, and it taught me not only crucial lab skills that I needed to be at par or even ahead of my schoolmates at the university level. More than that, it highlighted the importance of keeping at it when you encounter unwanted results and being able to adjust and modify your methods to address the problem.
