The SLAM-Statistics pathway is ideal for students majoring in subject areas that require Statistics. For example, Social Science and Health Science are majors that typically require Statistics. If you are unsure if you will need to take Statistics for your major or educational objective, please check with a counselor.

All students are eligible to take Statistics by enrolling in Math 136+ Statistics with Support; however, you may be eligible to enroll in Math 136. Please check your math placement in MyGCC. To view the eligibility criteria for Math 136, please click on the Math Placement Rules.

Are you an English language learner? Would you like additional language support in Math 136 or Math 136+? Do you have trouble reading a math textbook or understanding word problems?
