Physics 110

Physics 110 is a survey course in physics intended for students majoring in the humanities and the social sciences.  The course covers a variety of topics including motion, forces, energy, electricity, magnetism, optics, and thermodynamics.  The course takes a conceptual approach to physics.  Therefore, students are not required to have any background in mathematics other than arithmetic.
