Arch 141 - INTERIOR DESIGN - 3 Units

Architecture 141 begins with the study of the floor plan and architectural background and moves through the selection and arrangement of furniture, floor, and window treatments, lighting, and accessory planning. Emphasis is placed on the use of design elements such as color, line, shape, texture, pattern, space, and their interaction with one another in the interior environment. Lecture 1.5 hours/Laboratory 4.5 hours.

  • Note: This course may not be taken for credit by students who have completed Art 141.
  • Recommended Preparation: Arch 101 or equivalent.
