The primary mission of the Visual and Performing Arts Division is to prepare students for successful transfer to four-year colleges and universities, or for successful placement/advancement in rewarding careers.
Our courses and programs provide a rich and rigorous curriculum that helps students understand and appreciate the artistic and cultural heritage of this society.
Students may obtain Associate of Arts degrees with majors in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Animation, Art History, Ceramics, Media Arts, Photography, Music, Dance, or Theatre Arts. Associate of Science degrees with Vocational Certificate majors prepare students for employment in creative fields and provide valuable skills upgrades for professionals already working in the creative arts. Many courses allow community members to participate in performing arts ensembles or explore the visual arts.
