Associate in Arts for Transfer - Anthropology

The Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy lower-division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in anthropology at a California State University. The knowledge and the skills offered in this degree lead students to develop foundational knowledge in the field of anthropology including those topics and issues related to global, national and local aspects of the field of study. The Anthropology AA-T degree requires completion of the major and the CSU General Education (40 units) or IGETC (37-39 units) requirements.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
