Associate in Arts for Transfer - Economics

The Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically designed to satisfy the lower division requirements for a Baccalaureate Degree in Economics at a California State University. The knowledge and skills offered in this degree in the field of economics include topics and issues related to global, national, and local aspects of the field of study. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to critically analyze and evaluate economic decision-making and economic policies.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
