Associate in Arts for Transfer - Psychology

The Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education and is specifically intended to satisfy the lower division requirements for the Baccalaureate Degree in Psychology at a California State University. The knowledge and skills offered in this degree lead students to develop foundational knowledge in the field of psychology including those topics and issues related to global, national, and local aspects of the field of study. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to communicate how genetics and environmental factors interact to affect behaviors. Students will be able to critically analyze research articles.

The Psychology AA-T degree requires completion of the major and the CSU General Education (40 units) or IGETC (37-39 units) requirements.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
