Students must enroll in the following courses offered as part of this program (4 credit units).
HIST 48 (1 Unit) taught by Robyn Fishman
Come to Greece and take a one-unit HIST 48 course connecting the cultural history of Greece to our primary course offering HIST 170. Together we will connect your passion for travel to the culture, food, music, and drama of Greece.
HIST 170 (3 Units) taught by Eleni Tsaggouri
HIST 170 is an introduction to the study of history, giving a general perspective of the development of those political, economic, and social institutions that explain our present-day civilization. In Athens, the Peloponnese, and Crete, students will immerse themselves in history, archaeology, and a vibrant Greek culture. Experiencing first-hand the lasting Greek influence on politics, art, science, and philosophy, but also the influence of the many other cultures that left their mark in the area makes the country an ideal study abroad destination!
