Service Learning Student Questionnaire

Each semester, the MCEC administers a student survey for service learning which includes the largest number of students in any program (about 350 to 500 students per semester). Our survey return rate is approximately 30% but varies from year to year.

Over the last several years, the survey has been changed to address ILOs and PLOs at GCC. Overall, survey results are extremely positive and gauge some of the most common ILOs.

Only nursing students will continue to do service learning as a part of their program. Therefore, only these students will be using this survey instrument starting with the 2020-2021 academic year. As we have transitioned to a remote/online environment, we have created a different feedback form to gauge the impact of activities on students and other participants.
