What is Promise Plus?

GCC’s exclusive Promise Plus program provides a guided, first-and second-year experience designed to help students successfully complete their college educations.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • Dedicated Promise Plus counselors and peer mentors
  • Priority registration in reserved classes for students
  • Special classes to help students identify future majors and careers
  • Events and workshops emphasizing personal, academic, and professional growth

Graphic Deployment

When you are creating marketing materials for Promise Plus or that include Promise Plus, please use the following as a guide:

  • If your marketing piece directly advertises the Promise Plus, please include the logo lockup that was created specifically for this program.

    GCC’s branding rules apply to this version as well: upper left, no smaller than 1.5” in width.

  • If your marketing piece is about different programs, uses the GCC logo and includes a section on Promise Plus, please include the Promise Plus lockup that was created.

If resizing is required, the wordmark should be scaled proportionally to maintain original dimensions. To avoid skewing, do not stretch the image vertically or horizontally.

Writing About Promise Plus

Even though the new wordmark stylizes the name of Glendale’s Promise Plus program in lowercase letters, without a space, and with a “+” sign, the official name of the program remains “Promise Plus.” Because the program name doesn’t change based on how it is represented in the wordmark and it is a proper noun, it should remain Promise Plus when written in text.
