Thank you for your interest in Glendale Community College as the site for your event.  We accept requests for use of our facilities on a case by case basis.

Glendale Community College has several venues available for public use.  Rates vary depending on the type of venue and number of people in attendance. Catering is available through the Culinary Arts Department or Food Services.  In addition, fees for technical support, parking, security and custodial services may apply.

Glendale Community College is a non-smoking campus and smoking is not allowed on the main campus or other campuses, any college parking lots or other properties and is a citable offense.  Contact the College Police Department at (818) 409-5925 for off-campus smoking areas.

The J. Walter Smith Student Center
Capacity: 200/auditorium seating; 125 with tables

The J. Walter Smith Student Center offers space for large occasions, and can also be divided into two or three sections to host smaller events. The center houses a projector, an electronic screen, surround sound speakers, Wi-Fi, podium, chairs and tables.

Rental Agreement

A rental agreement must be signed and approved at least three (3) weeks before the requested event. All fees and deposits are also due at this time. Additional forms may be required, depending on the venue. Contact Rosa Buford at Ext. 5112 for a quote.
Hold Harmless Agreement This indemnity agreement must be submitted with the Rental Agreement.
Liability Insurance Requirement Liability insurance is required and may be purchased through the college's insurance brokers for the event.
