The Learning Center is eager to provide tutoring in — person (AD 232), via Zoom, or online on Canvas — during our regular business hours. When we are not available, please access NetTutor for tutoring.

 

Smarthinking log-in instructions

Select "After-Hours Tutoring" from the Learning Center Canvas page.

With NetTutor you can:

  • Connect and interact with a live tutor
  • Submit a question and receive a reply
  • Submit a paper for a tutor to review

Tutoring Subjects Covered: Writing, Math (basic math through differential equations), Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Biology, Intro Human Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Programming, ... and more!

Hours of Service: While live tutoring in most subjects is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, some subjects are only available during peak usage periods. Log in to your NetTutor account to check available times.

Plenty of Time for Tutoring: Each GCC student is allotted 8 hours of online tutoring through NetTutor per semester. If you need more hours, feel free to contact Shant Shahoian at shants@glendale.edu.
