GENERAL INFORMATION WORKSHOP
The General Information workshop provides an overview of the Glendale Community College Registered Nursing Program and is a great starting point for students who are interested in becoming an RN. We’ll walk you through the steps from completing prerequisite courses and applying to the program through completing the Nursing Program and becoming eligible to take the NCLEX-RN.

APPLICATION WORKSHOP
The Application workshops are designed to help prospective nursing students understand and navigate the application process. During the workshop, we’ll walk through the application step-by-step, review required documents and prerequisite information, discuss important deadlines and the application timeline, and explain what to expect after submitting your application.

Application Workshops are program-specific, so please be sure to attend the workshop that matches the program you are applying to:

• Generic RN: March 1-15
• LVN-RN: August 1-15

Reminders:

• No reservations needed to attend a workshop
• Enter the Zoom Waiting Room at least 5 minutes early. If you are unable to join in the first 10 minutes, we recommend attending the next scheduled workshop.
• General questions will be answered at the end of every Information Session. Individual questions such as equivalency of courses you specifically took, personal situations, etc. can be answered best in an individual appointment with one of the nursing counselors.
