LifeStyle Fitness Center Operation Hours
Students enrolled in PE 101, 102, 103, and 104 may utilize the LifeStyle Fitness Center to complete their course. Fitness center hours vary from semester to semester, so please check with your instructor for current hours.

Weight Room Operation Hours
Weight Room operation hours vary from semester to semester. Please check with your instructor or coach for current hours and accessibility requirements.
The Lifestyle Fitness Center (LSFC – VQ113) and Weight Lab (VQ001) offer students enrolled in PE 101, 102, 103, 104 or ATHPE 100 or 101 access to a wide variety of fitness equipment. Students must be enrolled in one of the courses listed above to access the fitness center or weight lab. Fitness equipment available in the LSFC includes:
- Treadmills
- Elliptical machines (Cross-Trainers)
- Exercise bikes
- Recumbent bikes
- Rowing machines
- Stairmasters
- Multi-use cable stations
- A full-body Super Circuit
- Single-station resistance machines
- An assisted pull-up/dip machine
- A stretching area with foam rollers and physio balls
- And more!
The weight lab provides the following equipment:
- Olympic platforms
- Olympic bars
- Bumper plates
- Iron plates
- Squat cages
- Pull-up bars
- Dumbbells
- Kettlebells
- Plyometric boxes
- Resistance bands *(must be checked out at the counter)
- Jump Ropes *(must be checked out at the counter)
- Medicine balls

The lecture courses KIN 167 Beginning Weight Training and Conditioning and KIN 168 Intermediate Weight Training and Conditioning teach students how to design their own fitness programs and utilize the vast array of fitness equipment available to reach their personal fitness or athletic goals.
The backroom of the fitness center, VQ107, houses a state-of-the-art indoor cycling room and hosts PE 110 Indoor Cycling I, PE 111 Indoor Cycling II, and PE 112 Indoor Cycling III, taught by SPIN-certified instructors and supported by a digital heart rate monitoring system.
VQ017 is designed as a Kinesiology laboratory classroom and utilized by KIN 151 Applied Exercise Science, KIN 156 Foundations in Personal Fitness Training, and KIN 157 Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries. This lab provides the students in these classes with technical equipment used to assess fitness and apply advanced training techniques.
