Coming from a family of professional musicians, his father being an opera vocalist, and his mother a pianist and piano pedagog, Varand Toros-Adami began his music education a age 5 with his mother, Magda Markarians. 

Mr. Toros-Adami currently holds a Bachelors and Masters in piano performance, from California State University Northridge. Along with his education, Varand has been the 1st and 2nd place recipient in numerous piano competitions such as Armenian Allied Arts Association, and CAPMT.

Apart from competitions, Mr. Toros-Adami is a faculty member at Glendale Community College, Ventura Community College, a performing artist, and a member of Pi Kappa Lambda.
