Jeremy Lewis is a professional director whose credits include works at The Eugene O'Neil National Playwrights Conference, The Kennedy Center Playwrights Conference, and Ford’s Theatre. Local collegiate directing credits include works at Citrus College, Glendale College, Concordia University, Azusa Pacific University and California State University, Fullerton. From joining SAG/AFTRA at the age of 3, Jeremy has spent 40 years in the entertainment industry working aside some of the most highly regarded actors and directors in the field. Jeremy also freelance’s as an acting coach and has coached many professional actors through National commercial spots, Film, and Miss America talent competitions. Jeremy is a two-time recipient of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival SDC directing fellowship, a two-time recipient of the Edwin Duerr Scholarship for Excellence in Directing, a recipient of the José Quintero award, and a former Freedman Scholar. He recently assistant directed the World Premiere Frank Wildhorn musical, Freedom’s Song, at Ford's Theater aside Jeff Calhoun (director of Newsies on Broadway). For many years Jeremy served as an adjunct professor of theatre (Directing/Acting) at California State University, Fullerton, Concordia University, Glendale College, and Citrus College. He currently serves as a board member for KCACTF Region 8 as Directing Program Coordinator and Co-Festival Coordinator.
Jeremy and his wife manage the professional acting careers of their three sons. This includes on-set coaching, professional networking, and maintaining social media presence. Recent work includes guest-starring roles on T.V., film, and streaming services such as Amazon Prime including, Phillip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams, The Middle, Days of Our Lives, Struck by Lightning and principal roles in National commercial spots including Toyota, Target, U.S. Cellular, and Wal-Mart. In addition, their youngest son, Jack, can be seen as “Mini Ed” in the music video Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift - ft. Ed Sheeran and the recently released The Joker and The Queen by Ed Sheeran - ft. Taylor Swift.
