Sheldon received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California- Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of California- Hollywood. Sheldon is also a former student at Glendale Community College where he studied Theatre Arts. He has designed Scenic and Projections for GCC’s Theatre production of The Importance of Being Earnest, A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, What Connects Us, Silent Sky, Spring Awakening, Songs for a New World, and Juanita’s Statue.
Sheldon has also been part of GCC’s Theatre’s stage management team for Paradise Blue, Dream 2.0, The Flies, Twelve Angry Jurors, How I learned to Drive, and Wintertime. He has staged managed for Son of Semele Ensemble’s Solo Creation Festival & Quick Creation Festival, and Coeurage Theatre Company's production of Under Milk Wood and Body Project. Sheldon worked as an assistant Set Designer for Imagine Theatre’s production of Warrior Queen Anahit the Brave. Sheldon currently serves on the board of Glendale Arts, a non-profit organization that showcases and promotes visual & performing artists and film makers.
