The Theatre Guild at Glendale Community College is a collection of storytellers and enthusiasts exploring theatre in the perspectives of performers, technicians, and designers. It supports the Theatre Department through, but not limited to, fundraising, marketing, and departmental representation. Theatre Guild is a space where students, new and old to theatre, are welcome and invited to pursue greater understanding within the theatre. Supporting the voice of the group, themes will be developed as pertaining to members' varied experiences, passions, and histories. With a focus on laying a theatric foundation, the Guild is built upon four pillars: improvisation, original/devised work, technical elements, and play readings.
