This certificate is designed to prepare non-native English speakers to succeed in
Business, Entrepreneurship & Management academic and career pathways. Students completing
this certificate have achieved academic English skills at an advanced, postsecondary
level. They have also achieved success in prerequisite or introductory coursework
in a variety of degree, certificate, or general education patterns.
The Certificate is granted to students who have completed the requisite units outlined
in the major requirements with at least 6 semester units of the required courses at
Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better,
or a “P” grade.
Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, the students will use English reading, writing, listening,
and speaking skills at an advanced level of academic proficiency; and apply content
knowledge of chosen electives in order to select a degree and/or career pathway.
