This certificate is designed for students who are interested in a broad knowledge
of business. Students completing this certificate are interested in working in a medium
or large business environment.
The Certificate is granted to students who have completed the requisite units outlined
in the major requirements with at least 6 semester units of the required courses at
Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better,
or a “P” grade.
Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to examine the key functions of business including finance, management, human resources,
and marketing from respective courses; integrate knowledge from various business disciplines
to develop strategic solutions for complex business problems and scenarios; and develop
interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills necessary for effective collaboration
in diverse business settings.
