The AS-T in Business Administration 2.0 provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AS-T in Business Administration 2.0 will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Business Administration or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution.

Requirements to earn an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT): 1. Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including both of the following: a. The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC). b. A minimum of 18 semester units or 27 quarter units in the major or area of emphasis with a grade of C or better. A “P” (Pass) grade is also an acceptable grade for courses in the major or area of emphasis. 2. Obtainment of a minimum grade point average of 2.0.

Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to recognize, analyze, and assess current economic challenges facing global and domestic businesses; analyze, evaluate, and explain business problems using basic concepts and terminology of accounting and finance; and understand and apply the four P’s of marketing, business law, investments, and management.
