Lauren Rome

Lauren Rome began teaching at California State University, Los Angeles after earning her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communication Studies. Lauren's studies focused on Interpersonal and Instructional Communication. As a proud alumna of a California Community College, it was always Lauren's dream to come back and teach where she got started. While a student , Lauren was one of the first presidents of the Communication Studies Club and it was partially through this experience that she had great opportunities to see communication principles and practices "in action." In addition, through her involvement she was truly transformed, and that helped lead her to the path that brought her back to where it all started.
